About LifeMax

You earn your level by doing the work.

LifeMax has two priorities: max your life, and enjoy the journey.

Six pillars of short videos, and with almost every one, a tool you set up yourself. You start with the Foundation, one welcome video, which opens HealthMax and FocusMax. Finishing HealthMax opens MindMax, SocialMax and BodyMax, and finishing BodyMax opens LooksMax. You can’t buy XP. You only get it for finishing chapters and for full days on your To do.

What you get

6 pillars

Six pillars, in order

Six to eight short video chapters in each, one at a time. The Foundation opens HealthMax and FocusMax. HealthMax opens MindMax, SocialMax and BodyMax, and BodyMax opens LooksMax. It’s all out already, so the order is the only thing you wait for.

watch + tool

XP for every chapter you finish

Watch it to the end (you can’t skip ahead) and set up the tool it asks for, and you get 100 XP straight away. Or we go through it on a call and I mark it done. Paying doesn’t finish a chapter, and nothing gets uploaded or graded.

27 tools

Everything you log, in one place

Almost every chapter has you set up a tool: Five Honest Numbers, Sleep & wake, the Activity log, the Habit tracker, the Journal, Standards and the rest, a few for each pillar. Whatever’s due each day goes on your To do on Home, and a full day is worth 10 XP. It’s saved to your account, so it’s on every device and LifeMax AI can read it. I don’t go through it. Before a call I read a short summary written from it. It’s still yours if you leave: export it or delete it in Settings whenever you want. No tool keeps a photo.

free

A free account, if you’re not sure yet

The Foundation, the first chapters of HealthMax and FocusMax, Five Honest Numbers, Focus, the daily check-in, one call with me, my announcements, three LifeMax AI messages a day and my weekly email. There’s no card, so there’s nothing to cancel. The rest is locked, but you can look in, and you can join LifeMax Club whenever you want, on the same account.

unlimited

Unlimited one-to-one calls, for LifeMax Club members

Book any free slot in my diary, as often as there are slots. There’s no monthly allowance and no extra charge. The only limit is my diary, because it’s my actual week.

Sun

The Sunday call, every week

Sunday evening, open to every LifeMax Club member. It’s recorded if everyone on it agrees, so if you miss one you can usually still watch it. The community feed is open all week.

$9.99–$42/mo

LifeMax Club, priced by account number

You open it from inside the club, once you’ve joined free. Your price depends on your account number. The first 10 accounts pay $9.99 a month, the next 40 pay $14.99 and the next 50 pay $19.99. From account 101 it’s $42 a month, for good. Free accounts count too, and your number keeps its price for as long as your membership runs. Every price gets you the same thing: the whole course, every tool, the calls, the community and the Sunday call. There’s nothing else to buy. Cancel any time and you keep the month you’ve paid for, then your account carries on as a free one.

Who’s teaching this

You’re probably wondering who’s running this. It’s a fair question.

  • I’m not ahead of you at everythingJust at finishing things. I’ve built and shipped two apps to the App Store on my own, doing the design, the code, the launch and the support myself. That’s the habit I’m teaching, and it’s the only one I’d claim.
  • There’s no team behind meI film every chapter and take every call myself, and I’m in the community. If we go through a chapter on a call, I’m the one who marks it done. The calls don’t scale, and they’re what you’re really paying for.
  • I’m not selling you a resultI’m teaching you a process. A journey to maximising your life quality, while enjoying the journey. Most people only chase the first and miss the second, which is why they’re stuck.

How it works

Four steps. From sign-up to your first chapter.

  1. 1

    Make a free account

It gets you the Foundation, the first chapters of HealthMax and FocusMax, two tools and one 30-minute call with me, where you can ask me anything. When you want the rest, you join LifeMax Club from inside your account, from $9.99 a month at the price your account number gets. The pillars, the calls and the community are yours straight away, and you won’t lose anything you’ve done.

  2. 2

    Start with the Foundation

It’s one welcome video about who I am, how chapters, tools, Today, XP and ranks work, and what to do first. Free accounts get it too. Fill in your profile, do your first check-in, and HealthMax and FocusMax open (on a free account, their first chapters). Finish HealthMax and MindMax, SocialMax and BodyMax open. Finish BodyMax and LooksMax opens.

  3. 3

    Watch the chapter

Each one is a video of four to eight minutes, me talking over the slides, and you get the slides as a PDF at the end. It tells you the best target to aim for, and doing something always beats doing nothing. The tools track where you are, and LifeMax AI helps you get closer. It’s one chapter at a time, and you can’t skip past the part you haven’t watched.

  4. 4

Set up its tool, and you’re done

Almost every chapter asks you to set up one tool, like logging a number, making a plan or writing a rule. Once you’ve watched it to the end and set up the tool, the chapter’s finished. You get 100 XP straight away, it’s dated and it stays, and your level goes up. Or we go through it on a call and I mark it done. The tool is for you, not for marking. Nothing gets graded, and paying never earns XP.

What counts

A chapter counts when it’s finished.Watching it is only half.

Watching a chapter to the end is half of it. For all but two chapters, the other half is setting up the tool it asks for. Then it’s finished. You get 100 XP, the bar under the pillar moves on, and it’s dated and stays done. Or we go through it on a call and I mark it done.

MindMax02

0/6 DONE · 0 XP

Chapter 1 watched to the end, but its tool isn’t set up yet. No XP yet, and chapter 2 waits, because inside a pillar it’s one at a time.

FocusMax04

3/6 DONE · 300 XP

Three chapters done, three to go. Nothing runs out, so a pillar can sit here as long as you like.

HealthMax01

COMPLETE · 8/8 · 1,300 XP

All eight chapters done, plus 500 XP for the pillar, one part of your ring lit up and three more pillars open. It’s dated, and it stays yours even if you leave.

Green and red are the only colours that mean anything here. Green means done or confirmed, like a finished chapter or a call with me, and red means something failed. Paying can never earn you XP.

The game

Your character.A level you earned.

The game is there because self-improvement usually falls apart in the wait, when you put in weeks of work and nothing tells you it counted. Finishing a chapter shows you the same day, a full To do shows you every day, and your level ends up as a record of what you actually did.

100 · +500 · +10

XP, and where it comes from

You get 100 for every chapter you finish, and 500 more when you finish a pillar. A full To do is worth 10, once a day, and streaks of 7, 30 and 100 full days in a row are worth 50, 200 and 500. The Foundation is worth 100 with no bonus, because it isn’t a pillar. Each chapter pays once, and money never pays anything.

Bronze → Diamond

Levels and ranks only come from XP

Your first finished chapter gets you off level 1 straight away. After that it gets a lot harder, so a high level means something. Your rank comes from the same XP: Silver at 1,000, Gold at 3,000, Platinum at 6,000 and Diamond at 10,000. The whole course is 7,100 XP, which is level 17, so Diamond takes the course plus months of full days.

6 segments

Your avatar

You pick the base and the colour, and you earn frames at levels 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25. Around it there’s a ring with six parts, one for each pillar, and each part lights up when you finish that pillar. All six lit is what lifemaxxed looks like. Trophies mark the milestones along the way, like each pillar, streaks of full days and firsts such as your first blood panel.

hide any time

A leaderboard you can hide from

LifeMax Club members show up on three boards: XP over the last 7 days, the last 30 days and all time. They show your avatar, nickname, level and XP, but never your real name or which pillars your XP came from. One switch in Settings takes you off. I’m not on it.

Profiles, wins and a bell

Tap anyone’s avatar to see their profile: their nickname, level and the pillars they’ve finished, never a real name. If you hide from the board, your profile only shows your nickname and avatar. When you finish a pillar or hit a big level, a win gets posted to the community for you, and you can turn that off in Settings. Replies, mentions and call reminders go to your notifications.

Levels only earn you frames

No chapter, pillar or call depends on your level or rank. Chapters open in the course’s order and that’s it. All a level gets you is a new frame for your avatar.

The pillars

Six pillars.The Foundation comes first.

Six to eight chapters each, one at a time. Start with the Foundation, which opens HealthMax and FocusMax. Finish HealthMax and MindMax, SocialMax and BodyMax open. Finish BodyMax and LooksMax opens.

LooksMax and SocialMax have firm limits. There’s no surgery talk, no scripts or tactics, and nothing that treats another person as a target. LooksMax counts what you do, never your face. The face score measures one photo, isn’t shown to anyone else and is never compared with anyone. The two LooksMax chapters on talking to women and asking one out are for members aged 18 and over. SocialMax counts how you act, never how someone else responds. The only ranking is the leaderboard, one switch hides you from it, and it never shows where your XP came from.

The filter

Who this won’t work for.

I’d rather lose the sale than take money from someone this can’t help.

You want the videos and nothing else

You can watch them, but you can’t binge them. It’s one chapter at a time, in order, and most ask you to set up a tool before the next one opens. The videos are one part of it, and the tools, the calls and the community are the rest. If you just want a video library, there are cheaper ones.

You want a score for showing up

Your level only goes up for actual work: finishing a chapter, or a full day on your To do. Reading, logging in and paying don’t earn a single XP. If you want points just for showing up, this isn’t for you.

You want me to decide what you work on

I’ll tell you what I think on a call. HealthMax and FocusMax come first for everyone, and finishing HealthMax opens three more at once. You’re free to pick the comfortable one, but that’s the easiest way to waste this.

You need something I’m not qualified to give

I’m not a doctor or a therapist. If that’s what you need, I’ll tell you on the call and point you to the right place.

One way in.

Make a free account and you get the Foundation, the first chapters of HealthMax and FocusMax, two tools and one 30-minute call with me, with no card needed. Your free call comes with your free account: book it once you’re in, and on it I’ll tell you honestly whether this is for you. LifeMax Club opens from inside your account, whenever you want it.
